Pump Up The Volume - 1990

Posted By: Krysti on Jul 04, 2013

Pump Up The Volume came to the movies in 1990 bringing then popular with teens Christian Slater playing a High School kid who anonymously runs an FM pirate radio station. The show runs at night and is quite popular with the area kids who go out in their cars and sit around in range of a good signal. Nicknamed "Hard Harry" he would often emulate a sexual nature into his shows as it crafted a character for people to relate to as well as rock music of his choice. The movie is great if you're into something that involves pirate radio or you just like a good ole high school theme movie that deals with issues such as being gay and battling feelings of suicide. It's quite rewatchable and deserves to be called a classic of the early 90's.
